📶 How to Turn OFF AT&T ActiveArmor (Fixes App & Streaming Issues)
If you’re experiencing buffering, app login issues, or connection problems, AT&T ActiveArmor may be blocking traffic in the background. Follow the steps below to turn it off using the AT&T Smart Home Manager app.
✅ Step-by-Step Instructions
1️⃣ Download the AT&T Smart Home Manager App
• Available on iOS & Android
• Sign in with your AT&T account
2️⃣ Open the App & Tap “Virtual Assistant”
• You’ll see this option on the main screen
3️⃣ Type or Say:👉 “Turn off AT&T ActiveArmor”
4️⃣ Confirm the Request
• The assistant will ask you to confirm
• Select Yes / Confirm
5️⃣ Wait for Confirmation
• You’ll receive a message confirming ActiveArmor is turned off
• ⏱️ Changes can take up to 10 minutes to fully apply

• This does NOT cancel your internet service
• It only disables AT&T’s network-level security filter
• If issues persist after 10 minutes, reboot your modem/router
